Makayla Merrill


Makayla Merrill began her experience in education at Salisbury University where she earned her B.S. in Elementary Education summa cum laude as well as a certification in Special Education. She is now in her third year of teaching first grade at Showell Elementary School in Worcester County and is a candidate in the Educational Leadership Graduate Program at Salisbury University. In her classroom, Makayla strives to implement best practices for teaching and learning while integrating technology to enhance the classroom experience for all learners. It is Makayla's goal to leverage her own love of learning to help inspire the next generation of leaders and thinkers.
